Enhancing The Most Expensive Coffee In The World

Have you ever tasted a $50 cup of coffee?  This famous coffee from Indonesia began showing up in North America during the 90s at the height of the gourmet coffee craze.  Kopi Luwak was also featured in the movie Bucket List starring Jack Nicholson and during one of Oprah Winfrey’s show.  Because of the coffee’s rarity, it is now sold in the market for up to $600 per pound, making it the most expensive coffee in the world.  Imagine what it would taste like if it was mixed or blended with flavored coffee syrup.  It must be a treat!
Let’s experiment.  Coffee and coffee syrups blend together in so many ways.  You can make ice blended coffee with a twist of caramel, rootbeer or hazelnut.  Or you can also go with Monin Organic syrups, which can enhance the flavor of your Kopi Luwak.  Trying different flavors of coffee syrup to your coffee will definitely change the experience.  Never be confined with just brewing it.
Having the right coffee machine will also enhance the coffee experience.  Preparing your most expensive coffee with an electronic espresso machine will absolutely put your experience a notch higher.  To all coffee lovers, this is a must have!
The roast master who prepares and processes the coffee beans described this coffee as strong in taste, rich and amazingly full-bodied with a hint of chocolate and syrupy flavor.  Kopi Luwak is indeed best with coffee syrups!
The overall experience of having Kopi Luwak is definitely a once in a lifetime experience.  Expensive as it may seem, you will without doubt get your money’s worth.  An expensive coffee with a twist of different flavors and different processes, this is something that you have to include in your Bucket List!

In Case You Want to Set-Up a Coffee Shop, You Might Find These Marketing Ideas Helpful

So you’ve finally decided to set-up your own coffee shop, complete with coffee syrups and pastries to attract customers in your quaint, little town. Locally-owned coffee shops are lucky to have loyal consumer base and frequent foot traffic. Additionally, many people include coffee-drinking in their morning routines. In fact, a lot of those cannot function well without their dose of coffee syrup-flavored drinks.

If you have recently opened your dream coffee shop but find that not many consumers flock to your shop, you may want to try these helpful marketing ideas:

Wi-Fi is a necessity. Offering Wi-Fi is not an optional feature. It is, in fact, a marketing strategy. Putting a Wi-Fi sign on your door means that customers are welcome to work and stay for a long time in your shop. It also means that you have enough space for people to actually come in and linger. The number of people who work at home are increasing and sometimes, staying at home becomes unproductive. So offer them an alternative – offer Wi-Fi and provide delicious and refreshing coffee drinks to boost their productivity.

Social media is still important, even for small and local businesses. You may already have your own customer base but it doesn’t mean you should ignore the huge potential of customers on the Internet. Participate in forums, engage Twitter followers, and communicate with your Facebook fans. All these can attract all kinds of people who may one day visit your shop and help your business grow. The same goes for YouTube. Create videos of how you make coffee, prepare them with coffee syrups, and finish them with coffee art.

It also helps to know fellow small businesses around your shop. Especially if you are just starting, personally dropping by nearby businesses and handing out coupons or discount cards can quickly boost your coffee shop’s popularity. New customers will just as easily flock into your coffee shop and it won’t be long until it spreads via word of mouth.

Finally, as a small and locally-owned business, you have the chance to inject your own personality into your coffee shop. This is more of an advantage because the risks aren’t as huge as major coffee houses like Starbucks, Coffee Bean, and Seattle’s Best. Customers can easily associate themselves with your business because it has a more personal feel to it.

Choosing Coffee Syrup Flavors for Your Coffee Bar Wedding Reception

Recently, we suggested how coffee bars filled with coffee syrup-flavored drinks are a great way to enjoy the most memorable day of your life – your wedding, silly. Coffee bars are unique and very non-traditional, not all couples veer away from what convention dictates when it comes to their wedding reception. With coffee bars, both guests and the wedding entourage can enjoy the same quality of drinks commonly served on wedding venues, except this time with more flavors, thanks to coffee syrups and other add-ins.

Choosing the flavors to include in your coffee bar is relatively easy. Of course, as with any wedding, you have to make sure that the reception and most importantly, the food, coordinates with the wedding theme. For weddings celebrated in the cold weather, or perhaps in the evening, hot coffees are great. Lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos would be perfect. Weddings during the summer season would be best celebrated with iced coffee drinks. Not only will it refresh the guests but it will also instantly perk them up.

Now, if you are the type of couple who likes travelling around the world or simply love the idea of gourmet coffee from other parts of the globe, why not represent your favorite countries through their coffee? The flavors will be so diverse that guests don’t have to worry about anything else. Play around with seasonal flavors to put some spin into your coffee drinks. Choose peppermint for winter weddings or pumpkin for fall.

Finally, if you prefer, matching your coffee drinks with the flavor of your cake, then by all means, do so. Match raspberry-flavored cakes with raspberry-flavored coffee drinks. This way, your guests can truly appreciate the food and drinks you served on the most important day of your life.

Coffee bars are more affordable than your traditional buffets. It is simple and elegant but offers the same high quality drinks as conventional wedding receptions. There are many ways to enjoy coffee bars on wedding receptions.

For example, a coffee bar can serve many different types of coffee. Coffee syrups are the best way to spruce up the variety so guests can enjoy espresso, roasts, cappuccino, hazelnut, amaretto, and other coffee syrup flavors. Additionally, mix-ins and coffee toppings are also made available so guests can choose the ones they like to top their coffee drinks with. When it comes to dishes, there are pastries and cakes that are perfectly compatible with coffee so there is no reason to end up hungry when attending a wedding reception that offers a coffee bar instead of the traditional buffet.

Using a coffee bar is advantageous for many reasons and there are cases when coffee bars are more suitable than buffets. For example, coffee bars are great for end-of-evening pick-ups for weddings that last late into the night. Coffee drinks and flavored coffee syrups can be served post-dinner to perk-up the guests who like to stay until the wee hours of the evening. Coffee bars are also great for morning weddings, especially as a gesture of appreciation for everyone who helped decorate the reception and prepare the wedding. Finally, coffee bars are the best alternatives to open bars as it serves non-alcoholic drinks particularly during the cocktail hour between the wedding ceremony and reception.

Coffee syrups are a great addition to coffee bars because it adds variety to the many flavors that guests can choose from. Enjoying a party doesn’t always have to be by means of alcohol. Coffee-and-cake receptions are good alternatives to alcoholic and traditional wedding receptions.

Latest Study Gives Coffee-Drinkers Another Reason to Enjoy Their Morning Drinks

There are many debates about coffee and its relationship with various diseases. Recently, we shared a couple of posts that discusses the health benefits of drinking coffee, with or without coffee syrups. While others are still skeptics when it comes to coffee and caffeine’s health benefits, a recently published study further proves that coffee-drinking is not related to chronic illnesses at all.

According to Rob van Dam of the National University of Singapore, “there is no reason for persons without specific health conditions to reduce their coffee consumption in order to reduce their risk of chronic diseases.” This statement is in relation to the recently published study by Anna Floegel and her team of researchers from the German Institute of Human Nutrition Potsdam-Rehbruecke who published their findings in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

The result of Floegel, et.al’s study revealed that both coffee and non-coffee drinkers have the same amount of risk in developing chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, stroke, heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. The research was developed because of the goal to investigate the effects of drinking coffee on chronic diseases as well as to estimate the overall effects of coffee consumption on the general health of the public.

For example, when it comes to diabetes, the study revealed that avid consumers of coffee are 23% less likely to acquire diabetes, which sits very well with other studies. van Dam also reinstates the fact that there is a lower risk of type 2 diabetes for frequent coffee-drinkers around the world.

The study involved 42,000 German adults without any chronic conditions and the researchers continued to follow up on the participants for the next 9 years, looking for chronic diseases. To end, Floegel reiterated the fact that “coffee consumption is not harmful for healthy adults in respect of risk of major chronic diseases,” as said in her email to Reuters Health.

This study gives coffee drinkers another reason to enjoy their flavored coffee syrup drinks and classic coffee drinks. Contrary to popular belief, coffee-drinking is a very healthy activity that more consumers should try to make a daily habit of.
